This was one of my favourite projects to date as I was able to select all of the finishes, design the joinery, furnish and style the property…the outcome is so cohesive! The concept would be Contemporary Australian, characterised but the nude coloured timber floors contrasting with the cooler colour palette – in particular the grey toned tiles and custom joinery. When furnishing this property, I opted for pieces that are timeless and are going to still be relevant and appealing in the years to come. One of my favourite features of this property is the void over the dining table, the natural light that pours in is priceless! The tile selections in this project were also a standout feature for me, I love the penny rounds and Kit Kat tiles…the subtle colour of each means that the texture is just enough and they do not overwhelm the space.
