This was a special project close to our heart, one of our lovely clients returned to us to work on their family home located in Byron Bay. We worked with Katie and Marc years ago on their business property, The Cape Beach House. It’s always lovely to work with clients again because you already know each other so well and this project was an exciting opportunity to do a different style…the brief was Farmhouse. This property was Marc and Katie’s original family home where they raised their three boys, think lots of dark timbers, closed in spaces and dark cork floors! Based in Ewingsdale and nestled among the towering tree canopies, it feels like a little slice of paradise. We changed the floor plan, completely gutted every single square inch of the home and started from scratch. Katie and Marc now have grandchildren so the bunk room was such a delight to work on, their family has evolved since they lived their last time so their needs have changed but essentially this home is all about entertaining and having their family together. It was a complete renovation that included three bedrooms, one living space, kitchen and dining, a media room plus the bathrooms and laundry and exterior.
