Currumbin Valley was a project that was especially close to my heart, being for my best friend and her family. It was a treat to design for them, it was a completely different process knowing the client so intimately and I felt that helped elevate the final result! Both Kelly and Anthony are defined by their relaxed lifestyle, they are all about the beach, socialising with friends and family and just cruisy vibes. So it was this sentiment that really drove the design direction, it was relaxed, light and breezy and fresh. The kitchen is the show stopper of the house with the arched bulkhead, but everywhere you turn there is something beautiful to look at. Located up in the rolling green hills of Currumbin Valley, the back drop is stunning and there is a breathtaking view through every window. The size of the windows truly make you feel like you are immersed in the tree tops and it’s a pretty special home to be in.
