Our lovely client had three areas she wanted us to focus on, the laundry, master bedroom and the home office. The laundry called for new joinery, we were able to have a little bit of fun with the penny round tiles and the gorgeous oval mirror. This space also acts as a powder room so it was important for the client for the laundry to feel that little bit special and I think we definitely achieved that! The brief for the master bedroom was to create somewhere for the clients to retreat to, somewhere calm and relaxing and this is something that was certainly achieved with the upholstered bed head, the sheer curtains and the soft muted colour palette. The gorgeous artwork at the base of the bed is certainly a focal point of this room and adds a little bit of vibrancy. The home office was once a corner that was used for the kids table and chairs, now that the kids were getting that little bit older it was time to make better use of this space! Somewhere that my client can work from home and also a place where the kids can do their homework. The cupboards hide all of the clutter of a home office and the open shelves provided a space to add some decorative elements.
