This job was on the smaller side of the scale but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t as beautiful as our other jobs. The client had us focus on their living areas and entry way and as with most of our jobs we were tasked with designing some beautiful joinery. We created this stunning curved v groove fire place in the formal living area which was the focal point of this room, we also furnished and styled this room to complete the look. The style was Contemporary Australian and I think we really hit that home with the neutral and khaki colour palette plus the stunning artwork by Kara Rosenlund. The clients had an awkward space under the stairs that was feeling empty and had no purposed. As it was near the front door, we decided to create a mud room type space – the joinery has drawers to store shoes and the upholstered seat means that it is comfortable to sit on each morning as the kids put their shoes on. When not in use, the joinery is beautiful enough to be a stand alone feature that creates a fantastic first impression when entering the house.
